What a fabulous night at the Lodge of Unity 30 year anniversary meeting.
The ceremony was first class and the brethren who attend the Corby LOI can feel proud of there own part in the temple proceedings.
It is highly recommended that if you are new into the Craft, it is a great way to not only learn/practice the rituals in a friendly and unpressurised environment, but it also gives you an opportunity to meet similar members from the other Corby Lodges. .
Going back to the Unity celebrations it was great to have the some of the founders along tonight. Especially my good friend and dare I say mentor Harry Twelvetree. Great to see him with us.
30 years ago myself as WM / Harry Twelvetree D.C. / Ronnie Stone Almoner / Barrie Ball assist secretary / Ken Martin Steward. where the original gang. Everyone from this group progressed to being the WM at Unity.
Festive board was fun and I’m very happy to report the official visitor WBro Simon Perry had a good time. It’s always helpful they win on the raffle.
The choir for the Tyler’s song was second to none. (I was told to write that!!)
I can’t thank the visitors enough for your support to Unity and the Corby Complex.
