On Monday 23rd October , WBro Dave Genner attended Grey Friars Lodge 4990 on his official visit.
WBro Jim Spence, WBro Andrew McWilliam John Russell and Alex Robertson were also there supporting Dave.
It was a very poignant meeting the first ,since the passing of WBro Ian Nelson.
Hearing about Ian’s masonic and personal background was very touching. Without doubt he lived respected and died regretted.
The ceremony was carried out by the lodge in a first class manner. The WM WBo Clark Gilkes inspired his team. The candidate was first class in answering his questions Bro Ronnie Webber.
WBro Ian Nelson would have been a proud man to have witnessed the ceremony.
In a true Corby style 2 raffle prizes made their way to Corby.
A festive board was a lively and a convivial ending to a good night.
