WBro Rob (Pinky) Pinkerton

Pinky just checking his name is spelt correctly on the Complex board of ST Giles W.M’s.

WBro Steve Burton, Group Officer for Corby and secretary of the Complex has written.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to report the passing of our dear friend and Brother W Bro Robert Pinkerton (Pinky) to the Grand Lodge Above  on the 16th March 2023, following an extended period of illness so bravely borne.

Rob was an eminent mason in both the English and Scottish constitution. He was a stalwart of Corby Masonry, and a massive support to our center in giving of time and expertise.

I know each and every member will have Evelyn and the family in their thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.

Rest in Peace Pinky gone but never will be forgotten.

As you have seen in the last few weeks on this site, Pinky was involved in charitable giving up until he was no longer able to, helping to organise the Sponsored Bike Ride https://corbymasoniccomplex.co.uk/2023/03/01/pinkys-bike-ride-15th-october-an-update/
