Corby Masons
Although it was just over a week early, it was decided not miss an important celebration at Thistle & Rose this season. So it was that on Friday 8th March we saw Bro Lewis Aitken become a Master Mason,(who incidentally will be a great addition to the Lodge.)
As this was deemed an emergency meeting , the rest of the CorbyMasons came together both to help in the Ceremony but also ensure a great attendance at the Festive Board.
T&R would especially like to give a big thank you to WBro Jack Summerfield for his work in the lodge, (Brotherhood at its best).
What else other than Irish Stew along with Soda Bread (of course!) ? was served as the Main course byt the Caterers.
The entertainment was provided by Bro Kevin Mannion ???? playing his banjo to our WM enjoying his shamrocks ???? the highlight of the evening was Wbro Jim Spence who had some of the Irish luck shining in him by winning on the raffle (again, how does this man do it?).
All said it was a great night and a great CRAIC and a big thanks to all the visitors, we look forward to your return, be lucky brethren ????
