From one lodge to a thriving community
Rooted in Tradition
Freemasonry in Corby began in 1948 with the consecration of Thistle and Rose Lodge. Giving the men returning from service and those rebuilding civilian life a place of fellowship, stability, and shared values.
Over the decades, more lodges were established, each adding to the life of the town and the wider Province. Freemasonry became woven into Corby’s identity, bringing together men from steelworks, trades, professions, and local businesses.
Today, that foundation has grown into a complex of lodges and side orders with over a thousand members, meeting regularly for fellowship, growth, and charitable work. Freemasonry in Corby continues to thrive, balancing its history with an active role in the community.
