Donation to Lakelands Hospice in Corby

Each Masonic season, Ferraria Lodge hold raffles during the Festive Board . The proceeds of which are then distributed to charities chosen by the Worshipful Master himself.

This year, WM Alex Morrison , chose amongst a few others , the Royal British Legion, by providing £200 for the Sleepover in the Complex car park.

During April, it came to the WM attention that Lakelands needed funds to replace a number of Thermostat valves, some of which had failed completely on radiators at the Hospice. Because of the failure heating and therefore monies were being spent on energy that was unrequired.

So Ferraria immediately supplied funding to replace all the Thermostats at the same time. A cheque was presented to Ms Sue Hall of Lakelands Hospice management team. WBro Alex presented it , along with WBro Steve Seward, Ferrarias Charity Steward and Bro Rob Poulter the Ferraria secretary.

In total Ferraria Lodge were able this year to provide over £1000 for local charities in addition to our member along with his company Taste Original handing over a cheque for £2390 for Teddies for Loving Care which is a County wide charity providing a Teddy for every child that has to spend time in one of the County Hospitals.
